Government financial assistance

 As tutor or curator to property, one of your duties is to deal with all the formalities enabling the person under your protection to receive the benefits, annuities and indemnities to which they are entitled, from government or other sources.

Call the Bureau des renseignements et plaintes of the Ministère de l'Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale at one of these numbers:

Under the Individual and Family Assistance Act, the Ministère de l'Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale automatically pays an allowance to eligible persons whose capacity for employment is severely restricted and who are under public or private protective supervision.

Other information

If the person whose property you are administering is incapacitated as the result of an occupational accident or motor vehicle accident, contact the Commission de la santé au travail or the Société d'assurance automobile du Québec for further information.
